3. Ran Reed - Respect the Architect [1992-1998] CD Reissue
The recent vinyl reissue of this classic album from NJ's Ran Reed sold out with the quickness, so here's a CD reissue by popular demand. If you missed the original 2012 release, don't sleep this time around. Limited to 400 copies.

4. Omniscence - The God Hour CD Reissue
The original CD release of Omniscence's 2nd album sold out fast as a UGHH.com exclusive back in 2015 so we're back with a CD reissue for those who missed it the first time around. [GRR017] Omniscence - The Raw Factor (1996) - CD / Tape / Digital

Originally scheduled for release way back in March 1996, The Raw Factor by North Carolina native Omniscence is one of the last of the unreleased mid-90’s albums to see the light of day. Despite being awarded The Source’s coveted ‘Hip Hop Quotable’ and dropping two well-received singles (’Amazin’ and ‘Touch Y’all’), record label politics meant the full-length Raw Factor album was never released and fans were left wondering what might have been.

More than eighteen years later, The Raw Factor is finally being released on CD, cassette and digital formats. Featuring punchline-driven lyrics from Omniscence delivered in his unmistakable cadence, and backed by head-nodding production from Fanatic, the album is a must-own for fans of 90’s hip hop. The 18-track long-player comes with liner notes about the recording of the album, and also includes all 4 songs from Omniscence’s 1993 random rap grail The Funky One Liner EP, available digitally for the first time.

Pre-Order the CD and Tape from the good people at UGHH: BUY HERE

In Europe, Pre-Order the CD and Tape from HHV: BUY HERE

Pre-Order the Digital release from: BUY DIGITAL HERE

All formats will be shipping / made available on November 11th.

We will also have some copies of the CD and tape available direct from GRR to coincide with our next vinyl release in November (so that you can combine shipping.)  Regardless of where you pick it up, many thanks for the support!

OMNISCENCE - Sharp Objects EP + Instrumental EP + Cassette!

I'm excited to announce the release of the new EP from North Carolina's Omniscence!  I'm sure you are all familiar with Omniscence from his 90's releases such as the Funky One Liner EP, the singles 'Touch Y'all' and 'Amazin', and his long-unreleased album 'The Raw Factor' which is finally seeing the light of day thanks to Dope Folks.  This new EP release picks up from the 'Raw Factor 2.0' 7" single that I produced and released last year with Omni. There are a couple of versions of the record available including, different colours of vinyl, a limited edition instrumental record and an even more limited gold cassette, see the details below.  Everything is pressed and in stock, and will ship to you from the US over the next week or so.

Outside Australia, you can purchase the release here: http://omniscence.bigcartel.com
Inside Australia, you can purchase the release here (expected to ship next week): http://gentlemansrelief.bigcartel.com

Sharp Objects Vinyl EP (10 vocal tracks)

Sharp Objects features 10 vocal tracks (including several remixes) of new Omniscence material and is produced and mixed by me.  This release comes in a picture cover and is limited to 300 copies – 150 on clear purple vinyl and 150 on blue swirl vinyl.  The price is $24 for 1 copy or $44 for doubles (one copy of each colour.)  Listen to the snippets below...

Sharp Objects INSTRUMENTAL EP (14 instrumentals + 2 bonus remixes)

Several people have asked me about doing instrumental versions of my releases so I decided to do a super limited instrumental version of this one.  Featuring 14 abridged instrumentals (including instrumentals from the Raw Factor 2.0 single) plus 2 bonus remixes that we couldn't fit on the main record, this release is limited to 150 copies on black vinyl.  It comes in a picture cover (same cover design as the vocal EP).  The price is $24.  Listen to the snippets below...

Sharp Objects GOLD CASSETTE (12 Vocal Tracks + 12 Instrumentals)

The tape version of Sharp Objects features all 12 vocal tracks from the 2 vinyl records and 12 unabridged instrumentals.  90 minutes of flavour on a gold cassette.  The tapes are limited to 50 copies and are $15.

Digital Release

Regardless of what you buy, every physical product order comes with a free download of the digital versions of the vocal and instrumental releases.  You will receive an order confirmation email from BigCartel after you order which contains the download link.

For those of you who would only like to purchase the digital version of the EP, you can get that here: http://omniscence.bandcamp.com/

It will also be available from iTunes and other sites in the coming days.

Shipping Details

Orders will be shipped out over the next week.  I now ship the majority of my releases from the US to help keep the shipping costs lower than if I were to send orders from Australia.  I have found the US post to be a bit slow to some countries, so please be patient but don’t hesitate to contact me if you have a question regarding your order.  We send all packages as gifts with a low value ($5-$10) – however, some packages still seem to get stuck at customs when sending to Germany.  If you would like your package sent insured, with tracking or anything else out of the ordinary please just email me to organise this.

Thank You!

As always, thanks for the support of my releases – it is extremely appreciated.  If you have any questions please get in touch.

OMNISCENCE - Raw Factor 2.0 (Vinyl)

Hopefully some of you are familiar with North Carolina MC Omniscence – be it for his debut on the classic compilation ‘Back to the Lab’ (recently reissued by Dope Folks Records), his impossible-to-find debut EP ‘The Funky One Liner’, or his excellent singles on EastWest/Elektra ‘Amazin’ (awarded 'Hip Hop Quotable' in the Source October 1995) and ‘Touch Y’all’ (1996).  Despite recording a full-length debut entitled The Raw Factor for EastWest, the record never came out and even now remains mostly unheard.

Fast forward to 2012, and I am really pleased to be involved in releasing Omniscence’s first new vinyl release since way back in 1996.  Entitled Raw Factor 2.0, the new single finds Omniscence picking up where he left off - kicking flavourful verses with his distinctive voice intact.  I produced, mixed and provided cuts on the track (and the remix version on the flip), and am also self-releasing the record on limited 7” vinyl.  Preview both versions of the track above...

The wax is limited to 300 copies – 150 copies on white vinyl and 150 copies on transparent blue vinyl.  The record comes in a full-colour picture sleeve (the record is in a paper inner sleeve within the cover, and the whole thing is in a plastic dust jacket for extra protection.)

This is NOT a pre-order: the records are in my hands and will be posted to you from Melbourne within 24 hours of receiving your order – please purchase from the store:

Prices are as follows:

1 copy (your choice of colour, blue or white): $13 (+$6 postage worldwide / $3 within Australia)
2 copies (1x blue, 1x white): $23 (+$8 postage worldwide / $4 within Australia.)

If you have any special requests please just leave me a note when you checkout.  I send all records as gifts so that international customers should not need to pay customs.

EVERY order comes with a FREE digital version of the release, including instrumental versions for both songs (these aren’t on the vinyl.)  While stocks last, every double pack comes with a free Debonair Blends mix CD.

I hope you enjoy the record as much as I enjoyed working on it.  Naturally, extra props to Omniscence for being involved in the project.  As always, thanks for listening!

FOR THOSE WITHOUT TURNTABLES: PURCHASE THE DIGITAL SINGLE HERE
