Finsta Bundy x Debonair P = Bizm Revisited

I recently connected with one of my fave indie groups of the mid-late 90's for a revisit on their classic track Bizm. This track will appear on the 'Saran Rap' compilation dropping on vinyl via Heavy Crates mid-2015, ordering details coming soon. Shouts to Finsta Bundy and to 2Kool Tony who hooked up the project and provided the cuts on this song.

This is the sequel to the Remixes EP I released in 2011.  It features 10 remixes I produced of 90's indies, and comes in a picture cover, limited to 200 copies (100 copies on cream vinyl and 100 copies on clear blue vinyl with black mix.)  The price is $20 + postage. Listen:

I also put together an LP containing 18 instrumentals, covering pretty much all the instrumentals from both the Remixes 1 and Remixes 2 records (slightly abridged to fit on the wax.)  This record is also limited to 200 copies (100 on frosted clear vinyl and 100 on green marble vinyl.)  It comes in a picture cover (same design as the jacket for the Remixes 2 record.)  The price is $20 + postage. Vinyl Bundle

If you're interested in copping doubles of both the new releases (1 copy of each colour), I have a bundle available which will save you a few dollars.  The first 20 orders of the bundle also come with a free Debonair Blends 10 mix CD, with 67 tracks spanning 95-97.

Combined Shipping With Terror Green - The 1995 Demo EP

Also dropping this weekend through Heavy Jewelz Records is Terror Green's 'The 1995 Demo EP'.  One of the most requested demos on the infamous Stretch & Bobbito show, this classic mid-90's NY flavor is finally available on wax at http://heavyjewelz.bigcartel.com - once again, Heavy Jewelz and myself have arranged to combine shipping for anyone who picks up releases from both of our stores.

Simply purchase whatever records you like separately from each of our respective stores before Friday 1 November. On Saturday 2 November, I will go through the orders and will refund the shipping costs to people who order records from both stores. For most international orders, the refund will be around $13.  The new releases from both Heavy Jewelz and myself are already pressed and ready to shipped out starting 2 November.  Australian orders will ship around the 9th of November.

OMNISCENCE - Sharp Objects EP + Instrumental EP + Cassette!

I'm excited to announce the release of the new EP from North Carolina's Omniscence!  I'm sure you are all familiar with Omniscence from his 90's releases such as the Funky One Liner EP, the singles 'Touch Y'all' and 'Amazin', and his long-unreleased album 'The Raw Factor' which is finally seeing the light of day thanks to Dope Folks.  This new EP release picks up from the 'Raw Factor 2.0' 7" single that I produced and released last year with Omni. There are a couple of versions of the record available including, different colours of vinyl, a limited edition instrumental record and an even more limited gold cassette, see the details below.  Everything is pressed and in stock, and will ship to you from the US over the next week or so.

Sharp Objects Vinyl EP (10 vocal tracks)

Sharp Objects features 10 vocal tracks (including several remixes) of new Omniscence material and is produced and mixed by me.  This release comes in a picture cover and is limited to 300 copies – 150 on clear purple vinyl and 150 on blue swirl vinyl.  The price is $24 for 1 copy or $44 for doubles (one copy of each colour.)  Listen to the snippets below...

Sharp Objects INSTRUMENTAL EP (14 instrumentals + 2 bonus remixes)

Several people have asked me about doing instrumental versions of my releases so I decided to do a super limited instrumental version of this one.  Featuring 14 abridged instrumentals (including instrumentals from the Raw Factor 2.0 single) plus 2 bonus remixes that we couldn't fit on the main record, this release is limited to 150 copies on black vinyl.  It comes in a picture cover (same cover design as the vocal EP).  The price is $24.  Listen to the snippets below...

Sharp Objects GOLD CASSETTE (12 Vocal Tracks + 12 Instrumentals)

The tape version of Sharp Objects features all 12 vocal tracks from the 2 vinyl records and 12 unabridged instrumentals.  90 minutes of flavour on a gold cassette.  The tapes are limited to 50 copies and are $15.

Regardless of what you buy, every physical product order comes with a free download of the digital versions of the vocal and instrumental releases.  You will receive an order confirmation email from BigCartel after you order which contains the download link.

A quick heads up that I a new piece of vinyl I produced is available for pre-order.  The record is called ‘The Allnighter’ and on vocals features M.I. who I am sure many of you would know from his work as the MC from Constant Deviants (‘Competition Catch Speed Knots’, ‘Problem Child’, Concrete Utopia LP etc.)  The vinyl is limited to 300 copies on gold (well, it came out more like orange) vinyl in a plain sleeve and features 5 tracks.

Steve Colossal + Debonair P = The City That Bleeds 7" Vinyl

I am very pleased to announce another new piece of wax I have coming out in the very near future - a new 7" vinyl with Steve Colossal.  For those who don't know, Steve released dope records in the mid-late 90's both solo and with the Baltimore crew Global Platoon.  After I remixed one of his joints 'Time to Shine' on my Remixes LP earlier this year, Steve got in touch with me and we put a few joints together.  The release is on translucent red vinyl featuring 4 cuts (2 tracks + 2 remixes) and will be available for the very affordable price of $8 a record.  Buy 2 or more copies and be in the running for a test pressing of the release!

Earlier this year I was between jobs and had a lot of time to kill, so I put together a bunch of remixes of mid-90's independent records.  I was really happy with the final product, so decided to press the finished mini-LP up on some vinyl limited to 150 copies.  After a slightly nervous wait, the wax arrived in the mail from the US last week and it looks / sounds great!  Keep scrolling down the page to listen.

The record comes in a plain black sleeve with colour labels and is $20 AUD (Australian Dollars) per copy + postage.  I have listed the postage prices below - unfortunately the strong Australian dollar currently makes international postage expensive for overseas buyers, so the record comes with a free bonus mix-CD to make the package better value.  Please note that this record is completely a break-even enterprise for me, so I cannot do discounts for multiple copies - however, combined shipping is available so just ask me for prices.  Likewise, if you require registered post, please just ask me.  Payment is available in Australia by bank transfer or PayPal, international orders are PayPal only.

Da Fat Cat Clique from Philadelphia released some great records through the nineties.  'Watchitsucka' was one of the singles off their CD-only album 'Ode to the Cool Cat' (re-released as 'Fat Cat Clique'.)  Anyway, I couldn't resist the temptation to flip this one on the disco tip.  Enjoy.

Scientifik was a great underrated MC from Boston who unfortunately passed away in 1996 while his excellent debut album 'Criminal' from 1994 remained unheard by most, despite featuring an all-star production line-up from Diamond, Buckwild, RZA etc (an earlier collection of demos was posthumosly released as 'The Most Blunted' LP.)  Anyway, I was compiling this collection of Scientifik's non-album tracks last year and threw together this remix as a bonus track - the beat is an old one from like 2003 that I never did anything with but always kinda liked.  Hope you guys dig it.
